DECLARATION
of 22 April 2024
on the issue of the commemorative silver five hundred koruna with the partial plating "ČKD Tatra T3 Tram"
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 18 June 2024 a commemorative silver coin with partial plating "ČKD Tatra T3 tram" is issued for 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matt relief.
(3) The five-hundredcrown corpus is driven by an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 koruna is 25 g, its diameter 40 mm and its strength 2,6 mm. In the case of embossing of a five-hundredth crown, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,50 g, the variation in diameter 0,1 mm and the variation in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of the five hundred koruna in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred koruna in special design is smooth with the feature "ČNB * TRAMVAJ * T3 *."
(1) The upper part of the coin is the composition of part of the side and front view of the tram ČKD Tatra T3. The detail of the chassis section is displayed at the bottom of the coin. At the top of the coin is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC." The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "500 CZK" is at the bottom edge of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composite letters "No" and "M", is at the right edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the five hundred koruna there is a tram ČKD Tatra T3 from a oblique view including overhead contact line and rails. The simplified colour of the tram is indicated on the coin by partial plating with yellow and red gold. At the lower edge of the coin, the text "CKD TATRA T3" and at the right edge of the coin is the text "2024" and the composition of the author of the coin, academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt, which consists of the letters "F" and "Z." Individual parts of text and composition of the initial are enclosed by dots.
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall take effect on 18 June 2024.
