THE LAW
of 29 May 2018
amending Act No 159 / 2006 Coll., on Conflict of Interest, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 159 / 2006 Coll., on Conflict of Interest, as amended by Act No. 216 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 158 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 281 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 350 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 167 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 503 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 131 / 2015 Coll., Act No. 190 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 298 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 302 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 14 / 2017 Coll. and Act No. 183 / 2017 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the first sentence of Paragraph 10 (3), the words "the method of acquisition and 'shall be inserted after the words" the exception'.
2. in Article 14a (2), at the end of point (m), the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points (n), (o), (p), (q) are added:
"(n) a public university, if it is a public office as referred to in § 2 (2) (b) and (c), if it is a public office as part of its activities,
(o) the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, if it is a public office as referred to in § 2 (2) (d), when it is a public office as part of its activities,
(p) The grant agency of the Czech Republic, if it is a public office as referred to in § 2 (2) (d), when it is a public office as part of its activities,
(q) The technological agency of the Czech Republic, when it comes to the public office as referred to in § 2 (2) (d), is involved in the public office as part of its activities. "
3. in Article 14b (1) (a), the text "(a) to (o)" shall be inserted after the text "Article 2 (1)" and in the case of members of the Regional Council or of the Capital City of Prague who are not long-term vacancies, "and the word" or "shall be deleted.
4. in Article 14b (1), the following points (b) and (c) are inserted after point (a):
"(b) Paragraph 2 (1) (p) and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Statutory City, Mayor of the City or City District of the City or City District of the City or City of the City of Prague, Deputy Mayor of the City or City District of the City or Territorial District of the City of Prague, Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague and members of the Council of the Statutory City, the City or City District of the Territorial Territory of the City of Prague, with the exception of the date and place of birth of the public office and the identification of the property,
(c) Paragraph 2 (1) (q), with the exception of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Statutory City, Mayor of the City or City District of the City or City District of the City of Prague, Deputy Mayor of the City or City District of the City or City District of the Territorial District of Prague, Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague and members of the Council of the Statutory City, the City or City District of Prague, with the exception of the date and place of birth of the Public Operator, the City of Prague, the Region or the City of Prague, to the extent of all the facts notified pursuant to § 9, § 10 (2) (a) to (c) and § 12 (4), with the date and place of birth of the public office of the public office, and identification of the property, or ';
Point (b) shall be renumbered (d).
5. In Section 14c (4) of the introductory part of the provision, the text or section 14 (2) (a) is inserted after the text "Paragraph 13 (7) '.
Transitional provision
In the case of notifications pursuant to Articles 9 to 11 and 12 (4) of Act No. 159 / 2006 Coll., as effective by the date of entry into force of this Act, made by public officials by the date of entry into force of this Act, the scope of the consultation into the register of notifications shall be determined in accordance with Article 14b of Act No. 159 / 2006 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of the Act.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the 15th day following its publication, with the exception of Article I (1) and (5), which shall take effect on 1 June 2019.
