THE LAW
of 27 March 2009
amending Act No. 178 / 2005 Coll., on the abolition of the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic and on the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance in the privatisation of the Czech Republic (Act on the abolition of the National Property Fund), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 178 / 2005 Coll., on the abolition of the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic and on the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance in the privatisation of the Czech Republic's assets (Act on the abolition of the National Property Fund), as amended by Act No. 171 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 228 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 443 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 31 / 2008 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 5, at the end of paragraph 3, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (k) is added:
"(k) to transfer an amount of CZK 1 500 000 000 in 2009 and an amount of CZK 1 500 000 000 in 2010 to the Ministry of Health for the promotion of strategic investment in health, established by a binding nominal list of strategic investments, proposed by the Ministry of Health and approved by the Government, including an indication of the expected financial amount."
2. In Article 5, the following paragraph 5 is added:
"(5) The Ministry shall specify in detail the assets to be sold and the sale of which shall transfer the amount to the Ministry of Health referred to in paragraph 3 (k). The valuation of the assets in question and the tender for the sale of the assets shall be subject to control by the Government and the Ministry. ';
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
