Order on the Bohoslovical Faculty

Government Regulation
of 14 July 1950
about the Bohosveric faculties.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 34 (2) of Act No. 58 / 1950 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions, and under § 32 of Act No. 66 / 1950 Coll., on the working and pay ratios of civil servants:
Bohosverk school.
§ 1.
(1) All Roman Catholic religious studies in the Czech regions are concentrated in the Roman Catholic Religious Faculty in Prague, which is a separate Bohemian Faculty and bears the name "Roman Catholic Cyrilo-Methodology Faculty in Prague." In Slovakia, this study is concentrated in the Roman Catholic Faculty of Religion in Bratislava, which bears the name "Roman Catholic Cyrilo-Methodology Faculty in Bratislava."
(2) The Cyril Methodology Faculty of Religious Sciences in Olomouc, the Diocesan School, the Greek Teachers and other Roman Catholic Teachers are deleted.
§ 2.
(1) Two separate faculties with the names "Husova Czechoslovak Bohoslovecka Faculty in Prague" and "Komenská Evangelical Bohoslovecka Faculty in Prague" are established on the site of the current Czechoslovak Evangelical Faculty in Prague. These faculties also focus on the religious studies that have been provided by the Biblical Institute of the Czech Brotherhood Unity in Kutná Hora and the Bohoslovecký Seminar of Czechoslovak Baptists in Prague, which is abolished.
(2) Evangelical religious studies in Slovakia are concentrated in the "Slovak Evangelical Religious Faculty in Bratislava."
§ 3.
The "Orthodox Faculty of Religion in Prague" is established, in which all the religious studies of the Orthodox Church are concentrated throughout the country.
§ 4.
(1) The Bohoslovka Faculty maintains the state.
(2) The administration, along with the churches, ensures that the upbringing of religious words is given in a spirit of popular democracy and in accordance with religious principles.
Organization of the Bohosveric faculties.
§ 5.
(1) The dean and the faculty board are at the head of the Faculty of Religion.
(2) The Dean manages and manages the faculty, is responsible for its ideas and educational activities and represents it in front of the public. His deputy is the dean. The Dean and Vice-Dean are appointed by the Minister responsible for the management of the State Office for Church Affairs for a period of two years, usually from teachers of the Bohemian Faculty.
(3) The Dean is responsible for the activities of the faculty to the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Office for Church Affairs.
(4) The faculty board consists of the dean who presiding for it, his deputy and other members of the faculty teachers, representatives of the church and students concerned. He decides on teaching and religious matters of the faculty. The resolution of the faculty board is carried out by the Dean; If it does not agree with its resolution, it must, however, present the contested resolution without delay with its proposal to the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Church Office to decide and inform the faculty board accordingly.
(5) The Dean's Office (Dean) is hereby established for the administration of the faculty.
§ 6.
More detailed arrangements for the organisation, administration and management of individual Bohoslovecky faculties are laid down in the organisational rules of these faculties, issued by the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Office for Religious Affairs in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
§ 7.
Bohoslovecke faculties can receive gifts, heritage and references for the state, in particular also dedicated.
Bohosling studies.
§ 8.
As a rule, the study at the Faculty of Religion lasts 4 years and ends with the final examination.
§ 9.
(1) Students are admitted to the Bohemian Faculty according to the ability of the applicants and taking into account the planned needs of churches and religious societies.
(2) Study and test plans, regulations, syllabuses and admission arrangements for students are established by the State Church Office, taking into account the proposals of the faculty board and representatives of the respective churches.
§ 10.
(1) As indicated by graduates of the Bohemian Faculty, the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Ministry of Religious Affairs provides.
(2) The Minister responsible for the administration of the State Office for Religious Affairs may determine the conditions for the award of the degree of doctorate of theology as a higher rank of religious, as well as the conditions for the award of honorary degrees of religious.
§ 11.
(1) The state takes care of students of worship in social, health, cultural and moral terms.
(2) Students are required to work their best to meet the study plan, to grow up to be patriotic priests or preachers who will sincerely support the people in their building efforts.
(3) The regulations on the general rights and obligations of students are issued by the Minister responsible for the management of the State Office for Church Affairs.
Teachers.
§ 12.
(1) Professors and professors of the Religious faculties for certain religious disciplines are appointed by the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Office for Religious Affairs of persons who have demonstrated the necessary teaching and religious competence.
(2) The Minister responsible for the administration of the State Office for Religious Affairs determines, after changing the places of the professors and lecturees at the Faculty of Religion and determining the scope of teaching.
(3) The regulations applicable to higher education teachers apply mutatis mutandis to the employment rights and obligations of teachers of the Bohemian faculties and to their pay ratios.
Transitional and final provisions.
§ 13.
Academic degrees, acquired according to the old regulations, remain intact.
§ 14.
So far, religious speakers will be given the opportunity to continue their studies. The arrangements for adoption shall be adapted by the State Church Office.
§ 15.
(1) All the provisions in the field covered by this Regulation are hereby repealed.
(2) The Minister responsible for the management of the State Church Office shall issue the necessary implementing provisions under this Regulation.
§ 16.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister responsible for the administration of the State Church Office in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
