Government Regulation
of 27 April 1949
amending the rules on agricultural reports and health reports of the Regional National Committees.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 8, § 3, point (a) and § 19, § 3 of the Act of 21 December 1948, No 280 Coll., on the Regional Establishment:
Paragraph 2 (2) of the Government Decree of 25 January 1949, No 12 Coll., on agricultural reports of regional national committees, is amended and supplemented as follows:
1. The final words "and its health protection 'shall be deleted from Clause 4.
2. The following shall be inserted after Clause 4:
'5. Organises the veterinary service for the protection of animal health and provides veterinary care, including all measures to protect animal health, in particular care for the protection and maintenance of their health, the improvement of their health conditions, including the hygiene of their nutrition and environment, the barrier and control of diseases and other mass diseases, the treatment and investigation facilities to protect their health and the disposal of harmful substances which threaten their health, the investigation, protection and treatment facilities, the distribution of vaccines for veterinary purposes, as well as the selection, effective distribution and professional improvement of veterinary staff in the field of animal health protection; ';
3. The current provisions 5 to 10 are renumbered 6 to 11.
Paragraph 2 (2) of the Government Decree of 15 February 1949, No 28 Coll., on health reports of regional national committees, is amended as follows:
1. The following provision marked "6 'is inserted after Clause 5:
'6. Provides protection of human health from diseases transmissible to humans; '
2. The current provisions No 6 to 8 shall become Nos 7 to 9.
3. The following provisions 9 and 10 shall be deleted and the following shall be inserted:
'10. Organises the surveillance of human nutrition on the health side, including the inspection of meat and other health control of animal food; '
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; They shall be implemented by the Ministers for Agriculture, Health and Home Affairs in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
