on the replacement of Members of the National Assembly
The Bureau of the National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has decided pursuant to Article 60 (2) of the Constitution on the following legal measure:
(1) Members of the National Assembly are entitled to reimbursement of expenses related to the exercise of the parliamentary mandate, compensation of 1500 CZK per month. If a Member of the National Assembly is also a Member of the Slovak National Council, he shall receive only one replacement.
(2) In addition to the compensation provided for in paragraph 1, the chairmen of the national assembly committees shall be entitled to an additional refund of 1000 CZK per month.
(3) The President of the National Assembly is entitled to a functional salary of 8000 CZK, Vice-Presidents of the National Assembly 5000 Kcs per month.
(1) Members shall be compensated by 100 Kčs per day for taking part in meetings of the National Assembly or of the bodies of the National Assembly of which the Member is a member and for taking part on other occasions under the authority of the Bureau of the National Assembly, as well as for the time needed to travel to and from the designated place.
(2) Members who are employees shall receive compensation for the days referred to in paragraph 1 from their employer at the rate of the average earnings calculated over the last three months. Members who are not employed (e.g. members of single agricultural cooperatives) will receive adequate compensation for lost earnings from the State.
(3) Members may use mass vehicles free of charge. They may also use aircraft for trips to meetings of the National Assembly or its bodies or for journeys to which they have been entrusted by the Bureau of the National Assembly, including return trips.
Compensation under § 1 (1) and (2) and § 2 (1) are compensation under § 3 (5) of Act No. 76 / 1952 Coll., on payroll tax.
Act 62 / 1954 Coll., on Replacements of Members of the National Assembly, is hereby repealed.
This legal measure by the Bureau of the National Assembly shall take effect from 1 July 1960.
