GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 17 January 2001
laying down additional vehicles which may be fitted with a special audible warning device accompanied by a special blue warning light
The Government mandates pursuant to § 137 (1) of Act No. 361 / 2000 Coll., on road traffic and on amendments to certain laws ("the Act ') to implement § 41 (3) of the Act:
(1) In addition to the vehicles referred to in Section 41 (2) of the Act, they may be equipped with a special audible warning device supplemented by a special warning light of blue colour (1).
(a) the President of the Republic,
(b) the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic,
(c) President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic,
(d) members of the Government;
e) Chief of General Staff of the Czech Army,
(f) Commander of the Air Force of the Czech Army,
(g) Commander of Regional Defence Forces of the Army of the Czech Republic,
h) Chief of Logistics of the Army of the Czech Republic,
(i) Deputy Minister for Internal Security,
(j) Chief hygienist of the Czech Republic.
(2) A special audible warning device, accompanied by a special blue warning light, may be equipped with a maximum of 2 vehicles for each person referred to in paragraph 1 (a), (b), (c) and (d) and only 1 vehicle for each person referred to in paragraph 1 (e) to (j).
(1) In addition, vehicles may be equipped with a special audible warning device, accompanied by a blue warning light, for the performance of specific duties.
(a) fire protection units;
(b) military fire brigade;
(c) mountain services;
(d) customs administration;
(e) failure services of energy equipment;
(f) special motorcycle units Castle guards,
(g) State navigation administrations;
h) Transport company hl. m. Prague, a.s.,
i) Hradec Králové, a. s.,
j) Transport undertaking of Liberec, a.s.,
k) Transport undertaking Ostrava, a.s.,
(l) Pilsen transport undertakings, a. s.,
(m) legal persons not referred to in points (h) to (l) operating a tram or trolleybus track;
n) Association of Rescue Brigades of Kynologists of the Czech Republic, Žatec,
o) Water rescue services of ČK, z.
(2) A special audible warning device, accompanied by a special blue warning light, may be equipped for each legal person referred to in paragraph 1 (g), (i), (j), (l), (m) and (n) with only 1 vehicle, for the legal person referred to in paragraph 1 (b). (h) no more than 20 vehicles and for the legal person referred to in paragraph 1 (a). (k) not more than 3 vehicles.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
