DECLARATION

fixing the total annual maximum levels of substances harmful to or threatening the ozone layer of the Earth which may be produced or imported between 2000 and 2002
The Ministry of the Environment provides, pursuant to Section 5 (8) (a) of Act No. 86 / 1995 Coll., on the protection of the ozone layer of the Earth (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"):
The total annual maximum levels of substances harmful to or threatening the ozone layer of the Earth (hereinafter referred to as "substances') 1 listed in Part C of the Annex to the Act, including those substances contained in products which may be imported, shall be fixed at:
(a) for 2000, of 740 tonnes;
(b) for 2001, of 620 tonnes;
(c) for 2002, of 500 tonnes.
In the years 2000 to 2002, the production of substances listed in Part C of the Annex to the Act is not permitted.
Total annual maximum authorised quantity of substances referred to in Part D Annex to the Act, including substances contained in products which may be manufactured or imported, shall be provided for:
(a) 8 tonnes for 2000;
(b) for 2001, of 4 tonnes;
(c) for 2002, of 3 tonnes.
Decree No. 276 / 1995 Coll., laying down the total annual maximum quantities of substances that deplete or threaten the ozone layer of the Earth that may be produced or imported in 1996 and Decree No. 256 / 1996 Coll., which determine the total annual maximum levels of substances that may be harmful or threatening the ozone layer of the Earth that may be produced or imported between 1997 and 1999, is hereby repealed.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
