amending the scope of import and export of precious metals for industrial, technical or consumer purposes
The Government of the Republic of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 143 / 1949 Coll., on Changes in the Organisation of Public Administration and within the jurisdiction of its bodies:
§ 1
(1) The competence of the Minister for Foreign Trade under Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Postal Service, extends to foreign trade in gold, silver, platinum and platinum group metals, in processed and unprocessed condition, intended for industrial, technical or consumer purposes.
(2) The scope of the Czechoslovak State Bank to trade abroad in precious metals referred to in paragraph 1 intended for industrial, technical or consumer purposes ceases to exist.
(3) The provisions of the foreign exchange regulations are without prejudice.
§ 2
This Regulation shall apply from 1 March 1959; they shall be carried out by foreign trade and finance ministers.
