DECLARATION
of 7 March 2016
on the issue of the gold coin "Castle Kost" for 5,000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 31 May 2016, the Gold Coin "Castle Kost" is issued for CZK 5,000 ("Coins") as part of the "Castle" cycle.
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.9 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) On the front side of the coin is the upper half of the coin field of the composition of heraldic animals from a large state emblem in the shields. In the middle is a Czech lion, on the left is a Moravian eagle and on the right is a Silesian eagle. Under the composition of heraldic animals, the door portal to the castle chapel is displayed. Inside the portal in the bottom half of the coin field is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC," the name of the cycle "PLAYS" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5000 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of composing the letters "No" and "M" at the bottom edge of the coin.
(2) The castle Kost is displayed on the reverse side of the coin. At the top of the coin, the initials of the author of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt, which are made up of compositions of letters "F" and "Z," followed by the text "HRAD" "KOST" and the year of the stamping "2016" which are separated by dots.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 31 May 2016.
