THE LAW
of 13 November 1984
on changes in sickness insurance
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Act No. 54 / 1956 Coll., on occupational sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 16 / 1959 Coll., amending and supplementing the Act on maternity insurance, the Labour Code No. 65 / 1965 Coll., Act No. 87 / 1968 Coll., on changes in sickness insurance and sickness care, Act No. 88 / 1968 Coll., on maternity leave extension, on maternity benefits and on allowances for children from sickness insurance, Act No. 87 / 1968 Coll., on statutory measures of the Bureau of the Federal Assembly No. 8 / 1982 Coll., on the increase of maternity allowance and changes in sickness insurance, Act No. 73 / 1982 Coll., on amendments to the Social Security Act and the Regulations on sickness insurance, and Act No. 148 / 1983 Coll., on the Unification of sickness premiums, is amended as follows:
Article 17 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The sickness allowance shall be determined on the average net wage of the worker per working day (hereinafter referred to as" the net daily salary '), but not more than 150 CZK per working week. This amount shall be adjusted proportionately if the working time is divided into a different number of working days per week (1)'.
2. Paragraph 18 (3) shall be deleted.
Act No. 103 / 1964 Coll., on the security of cooperative peasants in sickness and on the security of the mother and child, as amended by Act No. 141 / 1965 Coll., on certain changes in social security of cooperative peasants, Act No. 116 / 1967 Coll., on certain other changes in social security of cooperative peasants, Act No. 89 / 1968 Coll., amending and supplementing the Act on social security of cooperative peasants and the Act on Social Security, Act No. 99 / 1972 Coll., on increasing child and educational allowances, Act No. 121 / 1975 Coll., Act No. 57 / 1984 Coll.
1. in § 9 (1), § 14, § 19a (3), § 22 (1) and § 29 (2), the amount of 100 CZK is replaced by the amount of 150 CZK;
2. Paragraph 10 (3) shall be deleted.
Act No. 32 / 1957 Coll., on sickness care in the armed forces, as amended by Act No. 58 / 1964 Coll., on increasing the care of pregnant women and mothers, Act No. 87 / 1968 Coll., on changes in sickness insurance and in sickness care, and the legal measure of the Bureau of the Federal Assembly No. 8 / 1982 Coll., on increasing maternity allowance and changes in sickness insurance, shall be amended as follows:
In Paragraph 17 (1), the amount of 100 Ccs is replaced by 125 Ccs.
Act No. 88 / 1968 Coll., on the extension of maternity leave, on maternity benefits and on the allowance for children from sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 153 / 1969 Coll., amending and supplementing the Labour Code, Act No. 99 / 1972 Coll., on the increase of child and education allowances, Act No. 73 / 1982 Coll., on the Amendments to the Social Security Act and the Regulations on sickness insurance, and Act No. 57 / 1984 Coll., on certain changes in occupational sickness insurance, is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 5 (1), the amount of 600 CZK is replaced by 750 CZK.
2. Article 8 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) Money assistance in motherhood shall be determined from the average net wage of the worker on the working day (hereinafter referred to as" net daily salary '), but not more than 150 CZK on the five-day working week. This amount shall be adjusted proportionately if the working time is divided into a different number of working days per week (1)'.
The sickness benefit, the support for the care of a family member, the maternity allowance and the compensatory allowance in pregnancy and maternity, paid at the level laid down in the existing rules, shall be adjusted in accordance with the previous Articles without application from the date of application of this Law.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1985.
