DECLARATION
Minister for Foreign Trade
of 6 December 1966
concerning certain amendments to the Foreign Trade Minister Decree No. 104 / 1960 Coll., on the establishment of the Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions Company, on the organisation of trade fairs and exhibitions and on the Foreign Trade Minister Order No. 105 / 1960 Coll., on the establishment of the Rapid Company, the Foreign Trade Promotion Company, as amended by Decree No. 32 / 1961 Coll.
The Foreign Trade Minister provides in an agreement with the Minister of Finance pursuant to § 2 and 20 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the state organization of foreign trade and international shipping:
Decree of the Foreign Trade Minister No. 104 / 1960 Coll., on the establishment of the company Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions, the company for the organisation of fairs and exhibitions, is amended as follows:
Article 3 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The object of the business is:
(a) the management and year-round operation of the Brno Exhibition Centre, including the exclusive organisation of international fairs in Brno; the design, production and installation of equipment and services for exhibitions and fairs and other similar events in the Czech Republic and abroad;
(b) the exclusive organisation of independent Czechoslovak official exhibitions abroad where they are relevant for foreign trade, the organisation of official Czechoslovak participation in international fairs and exhibitions and other enterprises of a similar nature abroad, of importance for foreign trade, the coordination of the participation of Czechoslovak companies and organisations in exhibitions and fairs abroad, as well as the setting up of sample shops abroad for the purpose of promoting Czechoslovak products and technical documentation;
(c) organisation of exhibitions (and participation in exhibitions) for Czechoslovak and foreign enterprises and organisations in the Czech Republic where they are relevant for foreign trade. "
Decree of the Minister for Foreign Trade No 105 / 1960 Coll., on the establishment of Rapid, an undertaking for promotion in foreign trade, as amended by Decree No 32 / 1961 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In § 1, the name of the company is changed by saying: "Rapid, Czechoslovak advertising agency."
2. Paragraph 3 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The main business of the enterprise is:
(a) the exclusive implementation of agency promotion activities of all kinds related to foreign trade, including export and import of services and printed matter intended for promotion, the establishment of necessary facilities abroad for the purpose of promoting Czechoslovak products and the provision of publishing activities;
(b) organisation of exhibitions (and participation in exhibitions) for Czechoslovak and foreign enterprises and organisations in the Czech Republic where they are relevant for foreign trade, with the exception of the International Fair in Brno;
(c) the import and export of means of promotion other than those referred to in (a). "
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
