GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 15 September 1961
on the establishment of the University of 17 November in Prague
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 3 and § 25 (3) of Act No. 58 / 1950 Coll., on Higher Education, as amended by Act No. 46 / 1956 Coll.:
(1) A university called "University of 17 November in Prague" is hereby established.
(2) The University of Prague on 17 November is divided into:
(a) the Faculty of Language and Training;
b) Faculty of Science and Technology,
c) Faculty of Social Science.
The Minister of Education and Culture will decide on the time of starting teaching at individual faculties.
At the University of 17 November in Prague, the teachers listed in § 25 paragraph 1 of Act No. 58 / 1950 Coll., on Higher Education, as amended by Act No. 46 / 1956 Coll., also other teachers.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1961.
