THE LAW
of 27 April 1994
amending and supplementing the Act of the Czech National Council No. 359 / 1992 Coll., on Geographical and Catastral Bodies
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
The Act of the Czech National Council No. 359 / 1992 Coll., on Geographic and Catastral Bodies, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 2, the following paragraph 1 is added:
"(1) The Geometry Office is established as an authority of the State administration of the surveyor with national jurisdiction based in Prague."
Paragraphs 1 to 3 shall be renumbered paragraphs 2 to 4.
2. Article 2 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The Geographical Office, the Inspectorate and the cadastral offices shall be managed by directors appointed and dismissed by the President of the Office."
3. in § 3 (a) (2), the words "geodetic foundations" are deleted;
4. in Article 3 (a) (4), the words "the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic" shall be replaced by the words "the Czech Republic";
5. in § 3 (a), point 7 shall be deleted;
6. In Article 3 (d), the words "the Geographical Office 'shall be inserted after the words" the Office'.
7. In Section 3, point (h), the words "the Geometry Authority" shall be inserted after the words "the Decision."
8. in Article 3, the following point (i) is inserted after point (h):
"(i) provides for the administrator of basic and thematic national map works,"
Point (i) shall be renumbered as point (j).
9. the following Section 3a is inserted after Section 3, including footnotes 6a, 6b and 6c:
Geographical office
a) manages geodetic foundations of the Czech Republic, 6a)
(b) decide on the location of the surveying marks of the geodetic basis6a) on real estate;
c) runs the central database files of the Czech Real Estate Register in the national range,
d) manages the basic basis of the geographical data of the Czech Republic,
(e) maintain a central archive of surveying and cadastral, which is an archive of particular importance, 2)
(b) at national borders in agreement with the administrator of the documentary work of state borders, 6c)
(g) to deal with breaches of order in the field of surveying pursuant to § 7 (b) (1);
(h) carry out other tasks in the field of surveying entrusted to it by the Office.

10. in Article 4 (f), the words "(a), (b) (2), (c) and (d), (8)" shall be inserted after the words "§ 7."

The general rules on administrative management11) shall apply to decisions of the Office, the Geographical Office, the Inspectorate and the cadastral offices in cases referred to in Sections 3 (f) and (h), 3a (b) and (g), 4 (d) and 5 (a), (b) and (d) of this Act. ';
12. In § 7 (b) the word "geodetic" is deleted, comma after the word "points" is replaced by a colon and the words "
"1. geodetic foundations,
2. a detailed point field, '.
13. In Section 8, the words "the Geographical Office or 'shall be inserted after the words" may'.
14. in Article 9 (1), the words "the Geographical Office" shall be inserted after the words "may";
15. in Article 9 (2), the words "the Geographical Office" shall be inserted after the words "to be taken into account."
16. in Article 9 (3), the words "the Geographical Office" shall be inserted after the words "when."
17. Paragraph 12 is renumbered paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) The rights and obligations which the Geumeric Institute had at the date of application of this Act are transferred to the Geumerical Office. The rights and obligations arising from the employment relationships of the staff of the Geometry Institute shall be transferred to the Geometry Office. '.
This Act shall take effect on 1 June 1994.
