of 12 April 2007
amending Act No. 329 / 1999 Coll., on travel documents and amending Act No. 283 / 1991 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended, (Act on travel documents), as amended, and Act No. 634 / 2004 Coll., on administrative charges, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the Travel Documents Act
Act No. 329 / 1999 Coll., on travel documents and amending Act No. 283 / 1991 Coll., on Police of the Czech Republic, as amended, (Act on travel documents), as amended by Act No. 217 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 539 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 559 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 136 / 2006 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in § 3 (1), § 7 (b), § 10 (1) (a), § 10 (2) (a) and § 29 (2) (b) (10), "15" is replaced by "10."
2. in Articles 3 (1), 7 (b) and 29 (2) (b) (10), the word "licence" is replaced by "document."
3. In Article 5 (6), the words "and the technical way of entering citizens under 10 years of age in the parent's travel document 'shall be added at the end of the text in point (a).
4. In Article 7, the current text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) If, due to a lack of space in the defined part of the travel document, it is not possible to enter all the optional information required, the citizen who is to be registered shall be determined. ';
5. In Paragraph 9 (1), the semicolon shall be replaced by a comma and the words "the number of accompanying children of the parent shall also be entered in the travel card at the request of the citizen if they are entered in his travel licence 'shall be replaced by the words" and the number of accompanying children of the parent if they are entered in his travel document'.
6. in Article 10 (1) (a) and Article 10 (2) (a), the words "in the travel card, his parents" shall be replaced by the words "in the travel document, if this travel document is a passport, diplomatic passport, service passport or passport."
7. in Article 29a (2) (b), the following point 10 is added:
"10. name, surname, date of birth and sex of a citizen under 10 years of age registered in the diplomatic or service passport of the parent, where applicable, '.
Transitional provision
Where a citizen under 15 years of age has been entered in a travel document by his parents before the date of entry into force of this Act, that citizen may cross the border without his own travel document with the parent in whose travel document he is registered.

1. in Part IX, under item 115 (e):
"(e) Registration of a citizen under 10 years of age in the issued travel document of the parent CZK 50 for each entry."
2. In Part XII, under heading 157 (c):
"(c) Registration of a citizen under 10 years of age in the travel document of the parent CZK 200 per entry."
EFFECTIVE
That law shall take effect on the first day of the 10th calendar month following its publication.
