Federal Ministry of Finance
of 10 November 1981
on the issue of commemorative silver hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Olbracht
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Czech writer Ivan Olbracht, commemorative silver hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver stockings are driven by an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the hundred koruna is 9 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 29 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the commemorative silver stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. The name of the State "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" is above and below the national emblem in a split copy. In the middle of the sides of the national emblem there is a marking of value, left number "100," right abbreviation "Kčs."
(2) On the back of the commemorative silver stokron is a portrait of Ivan Olbracht in a hat in the left three-quarter profile. In the copy on the top left is his name "IVAN OLBRACHT," right down in two rows of the year "1882-1982."
(3) The author of the design of the commemorative silver stokron is the national artist Josef Malejovský, whose brand "M" is placed on the cheek under the state emblem in the middle.
This Decree shall take effect on 26 January 1982.
