amending Act No. 99 / 1963 Coll., Civil Code, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

1. In Article 250c (2), the words "allow him to make written submissions' shall be replaced by the words" ask him to notify the court within a specified time limit whether he will exercise his rights under the second sentence in the proceedings; otherwise rights in proceedings cannot be exercised. The administrative authority may submit written observations in the proceedings, consult the file, be informed of the conduct ordered and request that a word be given to it at the hearing. However, he shall always be served on a judgment relating to the substance of the case or any other decision terminating the proceedings before the court. For appeal proceedings, the first to third sentences shall apply mutatis mutandis. ';
2. In Paragraph 250j, at the end of paragraph 1, the sentence "The decision of the administrative authority shall be dealt with by the court in the statement of reasons for the judgment."
Transitional provision
For proceedings under Part Five of Act No. 99 / 1963 Coll., which began before the date of entry into force of this Act, Act No. 99 / 1963 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of the Act, shall apply.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 July 2023.
