DECLARATION
Minister for Foreign Trade
of 29 June 1960
on the establishment of a company called the Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions, an undertaking for the organisation of fairs and exhibitions
The Foreign Trade Minister provides, in an agreement with the Minister of Finance pursuant to § § § 2 and 20 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Sailing:
A company is established in Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions, an undertaking for the organisation of trade fairs and exhibitions (hereinafter referred to as "the undertaking ').
The headquarters are Brno.
(1) The business of the undertaking is:
(a) the management and year-round operation of the Brno Exhibition Centre, including the exclusive organisation of international fairs in Brno; the design, production and installation of equipment and services for exhibitions and fairs and other similar events in the Czech Republic and abroad;
(b) the exclusive organisation of independent Czechoslovak official exhibitions abroad where they are relevant for foreign trade, the organisation of official Czechoslovak participation in international fairs and exhibitions and other enterprises of a similar nature abroad, of importance for foreign trade, the coordination of the participation of Czechoslovak companies and organisations in exhibitions and fairs abroad, as well as the setting up of sample shops abroad for the purpose of promoting Czechoslovak products and technical documentation;
(c) organising exhibitions (and participating in exhibitions) for Czechoslovak and foreign enterprises and organisations in the country where they are relevant for foreign trade.
(2) The undertaking is entitled to conduct all business related to its business.
(1) The company is a separate legal entity and a separate economic organisation, operating according to a chozrasčet; be responsible for its obligations under its assets.
(2) The State does not guarantee the conduct and commitments of the undertaking.
(3) The assets of the undertaking may not be claimed to satisfy the claims of the State or of undertakings and other organisations.
(4) As owner of immovable property, an enterprise is entered in the land register.
(1) The undertaking is managed and managed by the Central Director appointed and withdrawn by the Minister for Foreign Trade.
(2) The Central Director represents the undertaking externally and is entitled to all measures and decisions in the management of the undertaking.
(3) The Minister for Foreign Trade may appoint one or more Deputy Directors. The Deputy Director shall represent the Central Director in full capacity.
(4) When appointing the Minister for Foreign Trade, the Central Director and his Deputy Directors undertake to carry out their duties conscientiously.
The capital is 250 000 000, - Kčs.
(1) The company is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
(2) The Minister for Foreign Trade will issue more detailed provisions on the tasks of the undertaking, its organisation and its activities, the responsibilities of its staff and the supervision of the Ministry of Business. The financing, payment and financial control regulations shall be issued by the Minister of Finance in agreement with the Minister for Foreign Trade.
On the day of the entry into force of this decree, all rights and obligations of Brno sample fairs, international sample fairs and exhibitions are transferred to the company.
Decree No 213 / 1957 of the Minister for Foreign Trade No 213 / 1957 of the Ú. l., on the establishment of a company of Brno sample fairs, an undertaking for the organisation of international sample fairs and exhibitions in Brno is hereby repealed.
This Decree shall take effect from 1 July 1960.
