GOVERNMENT DECLARATION
of 12 April 1949
on mutual recognition and enforceability of decisions on the maintenance obligations of persons transferred from Hungary to the Czechoslovak Republic and vice versa. * *)
Under Articles 79 and 84 of the Law of 27 May 1896, No 79 of the Law on Enforcement and Reinsurance (Enforcement Order) and Articles IX, 3 and 1 of the Law of 19 January 1928, No 23 Coll., amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Law on Civil and Enforcement Proceedings, I declare:
According to Decision No 62 of the Czechoslovak-Hungarian Joint Commission for the Exchange of Population, published by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Official Gazette I under No 329 / 1949 and in the Official Journal under No 211 / 1949, judgments of the courts and prosecutors, issued in the territory of the Czechoslovak Republic, setting out the obligations of persons resettled under the Czechoslovak-Hungarian Convention on the Exchange of Population of 27 February 1946 (No 145 / 1946 Coll.), are recognised as enforceable titles in the territory of the Hungarian and vice versa as equivalent decisions of the Hungarian in the territory of the Czechoslovak. Consequently, within the limits and under the conditions laid down in this Decision, reciprocity is guaranteed.
