establishing a State Veterinary Investigation Institute in Karlovy Vary.
The Ministers of Health and Justice declare, pursuant to Section 3, paragraph 4 of the Decree of 13 October 1897, No 240 of the establishment of state institutes for the examination of foodstuffs and articles, the needs of the kind referred to in the Law of 16 January 1896, No 89 of 1897:
On June 1, 1945, State Veterinary Investigation Institute based in Karlovy Vary, established under the Law of 16 January 1896, No 89, 1897, on trade in foodstuffs and certain items of need (hereinafter referred to as the Institute).
The official districts of the Institute are the administrative districts: Aš, Bílina, Duchcov, Cheb, Chomutov, Jáchymov, Kadák, Kraslice, Mariánské Spa, Loket, Most, Nejdek, Podborany, Sokolov, Warm, Teplice-Shanov, Karlovy Vary, Vejprty, Žatec and Jyltice.
The Institute shall be responsible for the tasks of investigating food of animal origin referred to in Regulation No 240 / 1897, except for the chemical investigation of foodstuffs.
