GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 8 July 1960
on the abolition of regional authorities in Slovakia and the navigation authorities in Prague
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic hereby orders pursuant to Section 1 of Act No. 143 / 1949 Coll., on Changes in the Organisation of Public Administration and its Authorities:
§ 1
(1) In the context of a new constitutional regulation of the position and competence of the Slovak National Council, the following shall be deleted:
1. Slovak Statistical Office,
2. Water management in Slovakia,
3. Management of geodesy and cartography in Slovakia,
4. Administration for the development of the local economy in Slovakia,
5. Slovak Social Security Office,
6. State arbitration for Slovakia,
7. Regional Inspection of Quality of Food and Agricultural Products,
8. National Breeding Administration in Bratislava.
§ 2
The government shall determine the details of the tasks of the relevant central government bodies in relation to the abolition of the regional authorities referred to in Section 1.
§ 3
(1) The navigation service in Prague is cancelled.
(2) The scope of the current navigation administration in Prague is transferred to the navigation administration in Bratislava.
§ 4
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
