Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that an amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of India on cooperation in the field of health and medical sciences, signed in Prague on 5 January 1988, published under No 75 / 1988 Coll., on the deletion of the provisions of Article 7 (2) thereof, as amended by "Each Contracting Party shall provide the necessary medical care to the citizens of the other Contracting Party who are temporarily present in its territory in the event of an acute illness or accident."
The amendment to the Agreement entered into force in relations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of India on 23 July 1996.
