CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 20 April 1990
amending the name of the Czechoslovak Federal Republic
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Federal Republic decided on this constitutional law:
The name "Czechoslovak Federative Republic" is changed to "Czech and Slovak Federative Republic" in Czech and "Czech and Slovak Federativna Republic" in Slovak; the two texts are equivalent.
If the name "Czechoslovak Federative Republic" is given in the existing constitutional and other laws, this means the name of the State under this law.
Constitutional Act No. 81 / 1990 Coll., amending the name of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic is hereby repealed.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
