Government Regulation
of 5 July 1950
on the abolition of awareness-raising councils and their transfer to national committees.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 143 / 1949 Coll., on Changes in the Organisation of Public Administration and within the jurisdiction of its bodies:
The World Council, established by Decree of the President of the Republic No. 130 / 1945 Coll., on the State Care of Information, is hereby repealed.
(1) The competence of local awareness boards is transferred to local national committees, the competence of district awareness boards to district national committees and the competence of the regional awareness boards and awareness boards in the information and education delegation to regional national committees.
(2) The liquidation of local and regional awareness-raising councils will be carried out by the national committees to which their responsibilities are transferred. The destruction of the Earth's information and information councils by the Ministry of Information and Information shall be carried out in agreement with the Ministry of Interior.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister for Information and Information in agreement with the Minister for the Interior.
