Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that an amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on Health Cooperation, signed at Vientiane on 28 December 1979, published under No 112 / 1980 Coll., on the deletion of the provisions of its Article 7 (2), as amended by "Each Contracting Party shall ensure the necessary treatment of the citizens of the other Party who are temporarily present in its territory, in the event of acute illness or accident." and the provisions of Article 9 (3) thereof, as amended by "the necessary treatment in the case of an acute disease or an accident of citizens who are temporarily in the territory of the other Contracting Party shall be provided free of charge."
The amendment to the Agreement entered into force in relations between the Czech Republic and Lao People's Democratic Republic on 22 April 1996.
