DECLARATION
Ministry of Forestry and Water Management of the Slovak Socialist Republic
of 20 January 1977
determining the watercourses and their basins and establishing a list of watercourses of importance
The Ministry of Forestry and Water Management of the Slovak Socialist Republic, after consulting the competent central authorities of the state administration and the relevant regional national committees, provides, pursuant to § 20 (2) and § 32 (1) of Act No. 138 / 1973 Coll., on Water (Water Act):
Water courses and their basins
Watercourses are sections of watercourses designated as a source of water for the bulk supply of the population with water listed in Annex 1 to this Decree (hereinafter referred to as the Annex). The beginning of the water stream is determined by the source of the water stream. However, if an additional section is identified on the same water stream as the water stream, its origin shall be indicated by the location indicated in the Annex. The end of the water stream shall constitute a transverse water flow profile at the point of collection for the bulk supply of the population with water, and, when the air water is taken, the end of the water stream shall constitute the dam or the ejaculation profile by which the water is collected; The location of these profiles is indicated in the Annex by the name of the adjacent location.
The water catchment area is the area from which surface water naturally flows into the water stream, to the profile defining the end of the water stream, as well as the area from which surface water is artificially transferred to the water stream basin.
In addition to the construction, installation and, where applicable, the activities already mentioned in Section 13 of the Water Act, the water catchment area of the water catchment area shall require the consent of the competent water authority for the following structures, installations or activities:
(a) large capacity buildings for livestock production considered to be:
1. buildings for cattle farming, namely buildings for dairy cows with a total capacity of 400 pieces above, buildings for calves from 800 pieces, breeding houses for young bovine animals from 500 pieces, stables for breeding cattle per worm from 500 pieces,
2. structures for pig breeding, namely structures for pigs for fattening with a total capacity of 5000 pieces and sows births and pig nurseries in prefattening with a total capacity of 700 pieces;
(b) ground silos and objects of silos;
(c) the construction of hospitals, hospitals and other facilities and operations with which the possibility of developing infectious diseases may arise;
(d) extraction, treatment and use of radioactive substances and, where appropriate, poisons, 1)
(e) the air application of fertilisers and plant protection chemicals;
(f) oil storage and handling and storage facilities for artificial fertilisers and spray protection.
Water-relevant water flows
The watercourses are watercourses and, where appropriate, their water-integrated sections listed in Annex 2 to this Decree.
The provisions of this Part are without prejudice to the provisions governing the exercise of the administration on the water sector in the reserved premises of the Czechoslovak People's Army and armed security corps. 2)
Provisions common and final
The water authorities issue measures in the reserved premises of the Czechoslovak People's Army in cooperation with the military administration (3) The protection of waters in this territory is secured according to the agreement between the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Forestry and Water Management of the Slovak Socialist Republic.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

4) The number of hydrological order of the detailed water catchment area according to the publication "Hydrological ratios of ČSSR," published by the Hydrometeorological Institute in Prague in 1965, in which water supply, water tank dam or water transfer is situated.
5) The auxiliary numerical marking of the water flow instead of the registration number of the flow is used mainly to distinguish the flows of the same names and to orient them, as it determines, with the exception of flows with a basin area below 5 km2, the flow point in the hydrological system. It is a specified number of hydrological order of the first detailed surface of the river basin in which the flow starts or starts (drives etc.) according to the publication "Hydrological ratios of ČSSR" - Part I. (Hydrometeorological Institute, Prague 1965), and this number is assigned to the entire flow. The number of hydrological order of the detailed surface of the water catchment area of the higher order in which such flow is located is assigned to streams with a water catchment area below 5 km2.
6) Unless a number or other note is indicated in the column, the whole flow of water is of importance. The beginning of the section is the mouth of the water flow or the place where the water flow leaves the SSR territory. The length indicates approximately the area where the flow is significant; the precise limits for the purposes of administration shall be determined by the agency procedure and marked with a milestone.
