GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 11 January 1961
on the award of the Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 247 / 1949 Coll., on Honours and Honours:
§ 1
The Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion may be awarded to members of other states who have been particularly deserving of the Czechoslovak State, of developing friendly relations with the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic or of developing friendship and cooperation between nations.
§ 2
(1) The Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion is awarded by the President of the Republic.
(2) It is granted in particular to important political and other public actors, representatives of international organisations and economic and cultural representatives.
(3) Cases of the Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion are administered by the Office of the President of the Republic.
§ 3
Decree No. 362 / 1922 Coll., establishing the Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion and the Czechoslovak Medal of the White Lion, as amended by Decree No. 261 / 1924 Coll., Decree No. 120 / 1930 Coll. and Decree No. 170 / 1936 Coll., is hereby repealed.
§ 4
Further provisions shall include the attached Statutes which form part of this Regulation.
§ 5
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.

Statutes
Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion
The Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion grants the President of the Republic to members of other states for exceptional credit for the Czechoslovak State, for the development of friendly relations between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and for the development of friendship and cooperation between nations. It is granted in particular to important political and other public actors, representatives of international organisations and economic and cultural representatives.
The Czechoslovak White Lion Order has three classes, the first of which is the highest, the next two gradually lower. The same person cannot have simultaneously honours of several classes.
Class 1 symbols
A. Strait
Scarlet red, 100 mm wide and 180 cm long ribbon made of moirée silk, equipped on both edges at a distance of 5 mm from the edge with a white stripe in a width of 15 mm. It is worn over the breast from the right shoulder to the left side, where it crosses in a cokard-shaped knot, covering the anchor to hang the line badge.
B. Order badge
A five-piece starfish, whose five rays come from a 23 mm diameter circle, is a series badge. The end of each beam runs into three spikes. The tip tips are protected and decorated with a ball. The star's rays are linked together by the sticky leaves. The total diameter of the starfish is 68 mm.
The star is enamelled on the front of the garnet, the edges of the middle circle and the rays are gold and the balls on the spikes and the leaves between the golden rays. A silver lion from the state sign of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic is attached to the centre of the starfish.
On the back of the starfish, the middle circle is enamelled with a garnet, bears a gold monogram "CSSR" in the middle and is grafted with a golden edge, engraved with the word "Truth Winners" in a dark blue enamel and decorated with two stylized lick leaves. The rays are also enamelled with grenades. The edges of the rays are gilded and polished.
With the ball on the centre tip of the upper mid-beam, the two-sided embossed gold lash wreath in the shape of a lying oval, measuring 35: 25 mm, over which the centre is crossed at the order awarded to military persons by two swords, at the order awarded to civilians by two palm trees, also gold. The glue wreath is equipped with a moving ring to hang the badge upstairs.
The badge is worn hanging in the ribbon cokard.
C. Star
The centre of the star consists of a silver, shiny double circle on the soil of a granate enamelled and radially sampled. Among the circles is the password "Truth wins" with two stylized lick leaves, also silver shiny. The middle circle space is filled with a silver lion of state character in a faint design.
From the outer silver circle, the silver, polished rays, which are long-shaped, inclined on their backs in an octagonal starlet, reach the circumference of the star with expanding needles.
The back of the star has a lens in the middle with a fringe decoration made of lacquer leaves, embossed around the monogram "CSSR." There are slight traces of beams on the walls from the front side.
The star is worn on the left side of the breast.
D. Chain
This character may be awarded either at the same time as other features of the first class, or later in particular, in particular to the heads of foreign States, in cases of special consideration to both nationals of foreign States.
The chain consists of twenty articles connected to each other on the circumference of the chain by two chains. On Wednesday there is an article of curtain, forming a monogram of initials "ČSSR," on both sides of it alternates with articles on which the lion is from the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, with articles from initials "ČSSR." The articles with the lion are ten, the articles with the monogram "CSSR" together with the article hinge also ten.
The article of hinges designed to hang the order badge is in total the shape of a regular trapezoid. It is filled with monogram "CSSR" in white enamel with gold facet frame, supported by air branch laurel, emerald green enamel. The edges and back of the article are gold, polished. The force of the article is 2 mm. The article is equipped with a pin on the back to hang the order badge.
The lion's article takes the form of a square of 24 mm long. In the middle it is mounted on a red enamel plate, grafted with a gold ring with a diameter of 18 mm. Silver lion from the state emblem. Around the plate is carved gold inscription "Truth wins," divided by two lick leaves and externally grafted with a gold circle of diameter 24 mm. The corners of the article are filled with an aerial glue decoration, also gold. The edges and back of the articles are gold, polished; Article strength is 2 mm.
The article with initials "CSSR" has the shape of a regular trapezoid whose base is part of the outer circumference of the chain. It is made with a gold plastic monogram "CSSR" with a shiny facet, supported by an airy golden laurel branch. Rim and back smooth, gold. Power of Article 2 mm.
Connecting chains are gold and consist of three square cells with numb corners, on the front of plastic, shiny, on the back of flat. The articles are connected to each other by oval decorated rings and with chain decorated rings soldered to these articles.
Class 2 symbols
A row badge hanging from a ribbon around the neck and a star on the right side of the chest.
A five-part starfish as in the first class is a row badge, but in a size of 11-less and with a lick wreath, reduced to an oval of 30: 20 mm. In the same proportion, swords and palm trees are reduced. On the hanging circle there is a bandage for ribbon, on the front of the garnet enamel with gold edges.
The ribbon is made of moirée silk, 50 cm long, 45 mm wide, scarlet red and has a 3 mm wide white stripe along both edges.
A star like class one.
Class 3 symbols
The third-class symbols are the same as those of the second class, but without a star.
