Government Regulation
of 21 March 1958
on the abolition of the Ministry and the local economy delegation.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the agreement of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations to the organisation of public administration:
The Ministry of the Local Economy is hereby repealed.
(1) The role of the Ministry of the Local Economy in matters which need not be provided to the central body is transferred to the executive bodies of the Regional National Committees.
(2) The competence of the Ministry of the Local Economy in other matters requiring central management, in particular in matters of planning, wages and prices, financial and housing, is transferred to the central authorities which are generally competent in these matters or to other authorities to which this will be imposed.
The delegation of the local economy shall be abolished. Paragraph 2 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
The detailed definition of the tasks of each institution in the context of the abolition of the Ministry and the local economy delegation and in the context of transfers of competence under this Regulation shall be carried out by the Government.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 1958; All members of the government will do it.
