DECLARATION
of 2 January 2017
on the declaration of the National Natural Monuments of the Cross and the establishment of its closer protection conditions
The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (4) (h) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, as amended by Act No. 349 / 2009 Coll.:
Announcement of a national natural monument
(1) The National Natural Monument of the Cross ("National Natural Monument") is announced.
(2) A natural service, as defined in paragraph 3, shall be declared a national natural monument, with the presence of:
(a) grassland and shrubbery ecosystems of rocks and drools, fornicates, dry lawns, sand lawns and shallow soils, meadows and pastures and lowland to mountain heaths;
(b) biotopes of rare and endangered species of pollack (Cerastium alsinifolium), spinneum (Asplenium adulterinum), rasenum (Asplenium cuneifolium) and sudeticum (Galium sudeticum), including their populations; and
(c) prepared rock origin consisting of solid bronze serpentinite;
forming the object of the protection of the national natural heritage.
(3) The national natural monument is situated in the territory of the Karlovy Vary Region, in the cadastral territory of the Pramena. The boundaries of the national natural monument shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides whose vertices are determined by coordinates of the uniform trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the vertices of the geometric pattern as they follow in the pattern is given in Annex 1 to this decree.
(4) An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national natural monument and its protection zone is given in Annex 2 to this decree.
Closer protection conditions
Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national natural monument
(a) permit or make changes to the types of land or to their exploitation (2);
(b) to permit or make changes to completed structures or changes to buildings before they are completed or to place construction, advertising and information equipment;
(c) permit or carry out geological work linked to the earth's surface;
(d) indicate cycling or hiking routes;
(e) store items;
(f) fertilise land or use chemical agents;
(g) to establish new hunting or feeding equipment or herring; or
(h) to feed or bait animals outside the feeding establishment.
Efficacy
This Decision shall enter into force on 15 January 2017.
