of 18 January 1949
laying down certain other tasks for the reports of the Regional National Committees on General Home Affairs.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 8, § 3, point (a) and § 19, § 3 of the Act of 21 December 1948, No 280 Coll., on the Regional Establishment:
Starting on 20 January 1949, the reports of the Regional National Committees on General Home Affairs set up by the Government Order of 28 December 1948, No 300 Coll., provide the following additional tasks of the Regional Administration, which have so far been carried out by the Regional National Committees, in Slovakia, of the same kind as those carried out by the delegation of the Interior there:
1. They shall deal with the organisation of subordinate national committees;
2. to deal with general matters relating to the volumes of the people's administration, their businesses, their institutes and establishments, unless they belong to other reports, matters of the characters and flags of the volumes of the people's administration and matters of honorary citizenship;
3. deal with the matters of the members of the subordinate national committees and the commissions arising from their duties and the matter of responsibility for its execution;
4. procure the territories and borders of the county, the merging and the separation of municipalities and counties, the modification and modification of their borders, as well as the matters relating to the victualling;
5. decide on the use of State symbols;
6. Supervise the observance of national border rules;
7. treat matters of citizenship;
8. deal with matters of matrimonial, marriage and change of name and supervise the management of the matrix;
9. Cooperates with the census;
10. arrange for permanent electoral lists and elections to the National Assembly, the Slovak National Council, national committees and other public authorities;
11. Cooperate in calling and appointing judges from the people;
12. verify the signatures and seals of the public authorities;
13. deal with titles, orders, honorary and commemorative badges and honorary recognition;
14. Handling administrative matters for public archives;
15. provide general matters for administrative and criminal proceedings.
Other tasks and the resulting scope of the General Home Affairs Report, as well as the chronological order in which the Regional National Committee takes up these tasks, shall be laid down by the Government by a separate regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 20 January 1949; they shall be carried out by the Minister for the Interior.
