DECLARATION
of 20 August 2021
laying down the activities which may be carried out by a doctor without professional supervision after obtaining a certificate of completion of the primary psychiatric strain
According to § 37 (1) (k) for the implementation of § 4 (4) (a) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the pursuit of the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
The doctor may, after obtaining a certificate of completion of the basic psychiatric strain without professional supervision:
(a) indicate and interpret basic imaging methods and laboratory tests;
(b) indicate medicinal products and medical devices except radiopharmaceuticals and cytostatics;
(c) diagnose mental illness;
(d) indicate the form of care;
(e) establish a therapeutic plan and regime measures;
(f) conduct pharmacotherapy,
(g) indicate psychotherapy;
(h) performing electroconvulsant care;
(i) conduct supportive psychotherapy;
(j) assess the risk of suicidal behaviour and aggression, indicate and implement measures to prevent and manage them;
k) assess and indicate hospitalisation and treatment without the consent of the patient;
(l) assess, indicate and use restrictive measures to limit the free movement of patients under the Health Services Act;
m) Indicate spa rehabilitation care;
(n) conduct an acute diagnostic evaluation and an acute therapeutic intervention in paediatric psychiatric patients.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 2021.
