DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 2 January 1979
on the issue of the commemorative silver hundreds for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ján Bott
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Slovak poet Ján Bott, commemorative silver hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver stockings are driven by an alloy of 700 pieces of silver and 300 pieces of copper. The weight of the hundred krone is 15 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 33 mm, with a repetitive influence of stars and three rings on the edge.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it in five lines the name of the state "CZESKOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" and the designation of the value "100 CZK."
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver stokron is a portrait of Ján Bott in the left three-quarter profile, facsimile of his signature "Ján Botto" is located in the bottom right of the portrait. At the edge of the coin left of the portrait is the year "1829," under the portrait the year "1979." The author of the design of the commemorative silver stokron is the academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba, whose brand "H" is placed right at the edge of the coin under the ends of the hair.
This Decree shall take effect on 24 January 1979.
