The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 59 paragraph 1 of Act No. 40 / 1974 Coll., on the National Security Corps:
A citizen who, in connection with the assistance of the National Security Corps or its members provided at their request or in their knowledge, has suffered injury or illness which is considered to be an occupational disease under labour law and whose result has become a citizen with altered working capacity, partly incapacity or invalidity, shall, in addition to claims for compensation under labour law, receive one-off exceptional compensation where the accident or illness has been caused by:
(a) a criminal offence;
(b) in the course of the service of members of the National Security Corps;
(c) in the performance of the service of members of the National Safety Corps in air traffic;
(d) in the performance of specific tasks, members of the National Security Corps appointed by their superior authorities;
(e) in explosives, chemical, radioactive, highly virulent, infectious or other similarly dangerous substances.
One-off exceptional compensation provided for in Section 1 shall be granted in the amount of between 5000 CZK and 25 000 CZK, taking into account the degree of difficulty in social application, personal, family and social circumstances of the injured party.
(1) If a citizen has died as a result of an accident or illness arising under the conditions laid down in Paragraph 1, his spouse and the children entitled to an orphan's pension shall be increased by one-off compensation, which shall be payable to them under employment legislation to double. In justified cases, one-off compensation may also be increased to the parents of the deceased.
(2) Persons who have been fed to a citizen who has died from an accident or illness arising under the conditions set out in § 1 may be granted a lump sum of up to 3000 CZK in justified cases.
