on the adoption of an amendment to the Convention on access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that an amendment to the Convention on access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters was adopted in Almaty on 27 May 2005 (1).
With the adoption of the amendment to the Convention, the Parliament of the Czech Republic gave its assent and the President of the Republic signed the instrument of acceptance of the amendment. The instrument of acceptance of the amendment by the Czech Republic was deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, depositary of the Convention, on 29 January 2008.
The amendment entered into force on 20 April 2025 on the basis of Article 14 (4) of the Convention and entered into force on that date for the Czech Republic.
