of 8 December 1994

amending Act No. 110 / 1964 Coll., on Telecommunications, as amended by Act No. 150 / 1992 Coll., Czech National Council Act No. 483 / 1991 Coll., on Czech Television, as amended by the Czech National Council Act No. 36 / 1993 Coll., Czech National Council Act No. 484 / 1991 Coll., on Czech Radio, as amended by the Czech National Council Act No. 36 / 1993 Coll., Czech National Council Act No. 103 / 1992 Coll., on the Council of the Czech Republic for Radio and Television Broadcasting, as amended, and amending and supplementing Act No. 468 / 1991 Coll.

Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

Čl. II

The Act of the Czech National Council No. 483 / 1991 Coll., on Czech Television, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 36 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:

Article 10 (a) reads as follows:

"(a) revenue from television charges,"

Čl. III

The Act of the Czech National Council No. 484 / 1991 Coll., on Czech Radio, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 36 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:

Article 10 (a) reads as follows:

"(a) revenue from radio charges,"

Čl. IV

The Act of the Czech National Council No. 103 / 1992 Coll., on the Council of the Czech Republic for Radio and Television Broadcasting, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 474 / 1992 Coll., the Act of the Czech National Council No. 36 / 1993 Coll. and Act No. 331 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:

1. Paragraph 2 is deleted.

Paragraphs 3 and 4 shall be renumbered paragraphs 2 and 3.

2. In the first sentence of Article 5 (4), the words "2 and 'and the words" The Czech National Council will not approve the Council's final account or' shall be deleted.

„§ 8

The activities of the Council are covered by the state budget of the Czech Republic. '

Čl. V

Act No. 468 / 1991 Coll., on the operation of radio and television broadcasting, as amended by Act No. 597 / 1992 Coll. and Act No. 36 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:

1. Paragraph 9 (6) reads as follows:

"(6) The financial resources derived from radio and television charges constitute the income of the legal operators."

2. In Article 19, the following paragraph 5 is added:

"(5) The cable distribution operator shall be obliged by law to provide the operator, upon his request, with data on participants in the cable distribution related to the payment of the radio or television charge. ';

3. in Article 20 (3), the following point (e) is inserted after point (d):

"(e) does not provide the operator by law with data on participants in cable distribution (§ 19 (5))."

Čl. VI

This Law shall take effect on 1 April 1995, with the exception of Article IV, which shall take effect on 1 January 1995.
