Communication from the Czech Statistical Office No. 243 / 2005 Coll.

The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to § 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, as amended, announces with effect from 1 July 2005 the update of the nomenclature of the countries of CZ- GEON issued by the Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No. 487 / 2003 Coll. of 18 December 2003 and amended by the Communication No. 339 / 2004 Coll. of 20 May 2004. That update is based on Commission Regulation (EC) No 750 / 2005 of 18 May 2005 on the classification of countries and territories for the external trade statistics of the Community and statistics of trade between Member States, published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 19 May 2005, amount L 126.

The nomenclature of the countries of CZ-GEON is updated under the following headings:
