of 11 December 1964
on the State Plan for the Development of the National Economy and the State Budget for 1965
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Tasks of the State Plan
(1) The main tasks of the National Economy Development Plan for 1965, which aims to create additional assumptions for the restoration of continuity of relations between the various sectors of the national economy and thus prepare a basis for the achievement of the prospective objectives set by the 18th Congress of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, are in particular:
Achieve further development of social production with a stronger focus on the qualitative aspects of the development of the national economy by:
(a) in industry, an increase in production of around 5.5% will be ensured by essentially increasing labour productivity, increased economy in the use of raw materials and materials, and the use of stocks and internal resources;
(b) in agriculture, an increase of around 2.8% in market production will be ensured in particular by further increases in the consumption of industrial fertilisers and the supply of mechanisation equipment and by the application of effective forms of labour interest;
(c) investment construction, including general repairs, will reach 52.9 billion. Kčs; the construction of critical structures will be accelerated to strengthen the production technical base of chemistry, agriculture, fuels, energy and transport;
(d) retail turnover will reach 109.9 billion CZK in the gradual elimination of the shortage of certain types of goods requested and the enrichment of the range.
(2) In Slovakia, the total production volume in the industry will increase by about 9,3% and the investment construction in Slovakia will reach 16,7 billion.
(3) In order to develop the production and growth of social productivity, labour will be made preconditions by improving the methods of planning the management of the national economy and faster implementation of the results of science and technology.
Tasks of the State Budget
In accordance with the National Economy Development Plan, the State Budget 1965 provides funding to ensure the planned tasks.
Determination of State Budget
(1) The total revenue of the state budget is fixed at 116 202 791 000 CZK, the total expenditure is determined at 116 137 674 000 CZK, so that there is a difference in the revenue and expenditure of the management of 65 117 000 Kč.
(2) The national budget shall contain the budgets of the national committees, the revenue and expenditure of which shall be CZK 31 517 700 000.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1965.
