THE LAW
of 15 March 2002
on the granting of a State guarantee to the Czech Republic for a loan to finance the purchase of five three-car electric units of the 471 series
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Czech Republic grants a State guarantee to guarantee a loan to a bank selected in a commercial tender under a special law (1) which, under the loan agreement, grants a loan to the Czech Railways State Organisation to finance the purchase of five three-car electric units of the 471 series.
(2) The State guarantee referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted on the principal of a loan of CZK 930 000 000 and on the interest and charges relating to the granting of the loan under the loan agreement, provided that the loan is due by 30 December 2009.
(3) The Treaty providing for a State guarantee under this Act is negotiated on behalf of the Czech Republic by the Minister for Finance.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
